Tunisia Rejects Intervention in its Internal Affairs

Tunisia: Tunisia has affirmed its adherence to its sovereignty and independence of its national decision, its keenness to maintain its relations with all its international partners on the basis of equality and mutual respect, as well as its total rejection of intervention in its internal affairs in any form.
In a statement issued, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the call for the intervention in the country’s internal national affairs and incite against Tunisia “to disrupt the corrective course of the democratic experience and confuse its foreign relations and friendships.”
In its statement, the Ministry affirmed Tunisia’s full commitment to protecting rights and freedoms, especially freedom of expression, calling for mustering the national interest and raising it above personal interests in a way that responds to the aspirations and hopes of the Tunisian people.

تونس: أكدت تونس تمسكها بسيادتها وباستقلالية قرارها الوطني، وحرصها على صون علاقاتها مع كل شركائها الدوليين على أساس الندية والاحترام المتبادل، ورفضها التام التدخل في شؤونها الداخلية بأي شكل من الأشكال.
ونددت تونس في بيان لوزارة الخارجية، بالدعوة للتدخل في الشأن الوطني الداخلي والتحريض على تونس “لتعطيل المسار التصحيحي للتجربة الديمقراطية وإرباك علاقاتها وصداقاتها الخارجية”.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية في بيانها التزام تونس التام بحماية الحقوق والحريات ولاسيما حرية التعبير.. داعية إلى الالتفاف حول المصلحة الوطنية وإعلائها فوق الحسابات الشخصية بما يستجيب لتطلعات وآمال الشعب التونسي.
