US, China Hold Economic Talks

Beijing: Senior trade officials of the US and China held economic talks.
The virtual talks, held by Chinese Vice Premier Liu He and US Trade Representative Katherine Tai, touched upon the Sino-US economic and trade relations as being of great importance to the two countries and the world at large, with an emphasis on strengthening bilateral economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, China’s Xinhua news agency reported.
“Both sides agree to continue communicating with an equal approach and mutual respect, and to create the conditions for the healthy development of economic and trade relations between the two countries and the recovery of the world economy,” it added.
The two sides also exchanged views on the implementation of the China-US economic and trade agreement.

وذكرت وكالة الأنباء الصينية /شينغوا/ أن المحادثات التي أجراها عبر الاتصال المرئي كل من نائب رئيس مجلس الدولة الصيني ليو خه، والممثلة التجارية الأمريكية كاثرين تاي، تناولت العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية الصينية الأمريكية باعتبارها ذات أهمية كبرى للبلدين وللعالم بأسره، مع التأكيد على تعزيز التبادل والتعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري الثنائي.
كما تبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر حول تنفيذ الاتفاقية الاقتصادية والتجارية الصينية الأمريكية.
واتفق الجانبان على مواصلة التواصل في موقف يتسم بروح المساواة والاحترام المتبادل من أجل خلق ظروف مواتية للتنمية الصحية للعلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية الثنائية وتعافي الاقتصاد العالمي.
