Lighting is required for the vital streets of Abu Hamour

Doha: A number of residents of Anas bin Iyad and Jableh bin Malik streets in Abu Hamour area questioned the reasons why they had no lampposts despite the fact that the Public Works Authority “Ashghal” provided this service in most of the streets of the interior region.
They emphasized that the two aforementioned streets are among the streets that witness the passage of a large number of cars as they are an outlet for the residents to reach Salwa, Halul and Sabah Al-Ahmad Corridor.
They pointed out that the installation of lampposts in residential neighbourhoods is an important service that must be provided on the internal streets to avoid traffic accidents and trampling between vehicles and residents,
The Authority called for the start of a comprehensive project to install lampposts in the inner streets of the area as soon as possible, especially since it has not delayed the provision of sewage infrastructure and rainwater drainage streams.

الدوحة: تساءلَ عددٌ من سكان شارعَي أنس بن إياد وجبلة بن مالك بمنطقة أبو هامور عن الأسباب وراء خلوّهما من أعمدة الإنارة رغم قيام هيئة الأشغال العامّة «أشغال» بتوفير هذه الخدمة في معظم شوارع المنطقة الداخلية، مؤكّدين أنَّ الشارعَين المذكورَين يعتبران من الشوارع التي تشهد مرور عددٍ كبير من السيارات باعتبارهما منفذًا للسكان للوصول إلى طرق سلوى وحالول ومحور صباح الأحمد. وأشاروا إلى أنَّ تركيب أعمدة الإنارة في الأحياء السكنيّة من الخدمات المهمة التي لا بد من توفيرها في الشوارع الداخلية لتفادي الحوادث المروريّة والدعس بين المركبات والسكان، داعين الهيئة إلى البدء بمشروع شامل لإنارة الشوارع الداخليّة للمنطقة في أقرب وقت ممكن، لا سيما أنها لم تتأخّر في توفير خدمة البنية التحتيّة من الصرف الصحي ومجاري تصريف مياه الأمطار.
