Labour Ministry Receives 5,525 Recruitment Requests in February

Doha: The statistical bulletin issued by the Ministry of Labour for the month of February 2023 showed that about 5,525 recruitment requests were received, and about 3,004 requests to modify the profession were received.

According to the bulletin, the ministry approved 3,862 recruitment requests and rejected 1,663, while the total number of requests to modify the profession was about 3,004, of which 2,961 were approved and 43 were rejected.

On the other hand, the number of work permit applications submitted to the Ministry during the month of February amounted to about 1,768, including 891 for permit renewal, 607 for issuing a new permit, 269 for canceling issued permits, and one request for a replacement for a lost one.

In terms of inspection visits to labour recruitment offices, the statistical bulletin showed that the ministry carried out about 217 inspection tours of recruitment offices, with 173 visits in which no observations were recorded, and issued 40 warnings to remove a violation and ban two offices, and provided advice and guidance to two offices.

During the month of February, the Labour Inspection Department carried out intensive inspection campaigns to monitor the extent to which establishments comply with the laws and ministerial decisions concerned with regulating the labour market in the country, with a total number of 4,294 inspection visits in various regions, which resulted in the seizure of 739 violations and the issuance of 655 warnings.

With regard to labour complaints, the statistical bulletin showed that the Labour Relations Department received complaints from the establishment’s workers against the establishment with about 2374 complaints, of which 606 complaints were settled, 288 of them were referred to the labour dispute settlement committees, and about 1480 complaints remained under procedure, and the Labour Relations Department received 86 communications From the public and all settled, while Labour Relations Department also received 86 complaints from the public and all of them were settled.

وبحسب النشرة، وافقت الوزارة على 3862 طلب استقدام، ورفضت 1663، فيما بلغ العدد الإجمالي لطلبات تعديل المهنة نحو 3004 طلبات، تمت الموافقة على 2961 ورفض 43 .

من جهة أخرى،بلغ عدد طلبات تصاريح العمل المقدمة للوزارة خلال شهر فبراير الماضي نحو 1768 طلبا، منها 891 لتجديد التصريح، 607 لإصدار تصريح جديد، و269 لإلغاء تصاريح صادرة، وطلب واحد بدل فاقد.

وعلى صعيد الزيارات التفتيشية على مكاتب استقدام العمالة، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية أن الوزارة قامت بتنفيذ نحو 217 جولة تفتيشية على مكاتب الاستقدام، بواقع 173 زيارة لم يسجل فيها ملاحظات، وإصدار 40 تنبيها بإزالة مخالفة وحظر مكتبين، وتقديم النصح والإرشاد لمكتبين.

وقامت إدارة تفتيش العمل خلال شهر فبراير، بحملات تفتيشية مكثفة لمراقبة مدى التزام المنشآت بالقوانين والقرارات الوزارية المعنية بتنظيم سوق العمل بالدولة، بإجمالي عدد زيارات تفتيشية 4294 زيارة بمختلف المناطق، أسفر عنها ضبط 739 مخالفة، وتوجيه 655 تنبيها.

وبشأن الشكاوى العمالية، أظهرت النشرة الإحصائية استقبال إدارة علاقات العمل شكاوى من عمالة المنشأة ضد المنشأة بنحو 2374 شكوى، سويت منها 606 شكاوى، وأحيل منها 288 للجان فض المنازعات العمالية، وبقي تحت الإجراء ما يقارب نحو 1480 شكوى، كما تلقت إدارة علاقات العمل 86 بلاغا من الجمهور وسويت جميعها.

وبحسب النشرة الإحصائية الشهرية فيما يتعلق بلجان فض المنازعات العمالية، بلغ عدد القضايا المحالة إلى لجان فض المنازعات خلال الشهر الماضي نحو 1112 قضية، وبلغ إجمالي عدد القرارات الصادرة عن لجان فض المنازعات العمالية نحو 528 قرارا، وبلغ إجمالي القرارات التي ما زالت تحت الإجراء نحو 901 قرار.
