Demands for tighter Precautionary Measures in Eid Al-Fitr

Doha: A number of citizens believe that the state’s precautionary measures to reduce the outbreak of Covid-19 among members of the community in the coming period, specifically in Eid al-Fitr, which is few days away from us.

Where there are many family meetings and consultations between family members on Eid days with the aim of exchanging visits and blessings, and it is necessary to abide by all that is stated in the precautionary measures and not to gather in closed places and contact with each other, in order to keep everyone safe from the risk of being infected with the new strains of Coronavirus.

Pointing out that the past period has witnessed a significant decline in the number of daily infections, and it is necessary to maintain the rate of decline and reach the lowest number of daily cases, wishing that members of the community adhere to precautionary measures, and not exchange greetings in the form of hand shaking or by direct contact, in order to preserve the safety of the elderly and children from the risk of infection with Coronavirus.

Shaking hands and sitting without taking into account the safe distance can lead to transmission among the largest number of people, which may increase the number of cases again, hoping that everyone will adhere to social distancing, and not to shake hands directly, and wearing masks as well, in addition to adhering to the number of people allowed to be in the same place.

They demanded that each member of the community be self-controlled during the days of Eid, and that the number of infections should not increase by neglecting precautionary conditions and procedures.

الدوحة: يرى عدد من المواطنين ضرورة الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية التي وضعتها الدولة للحد من تفشي فيروس كورونا بين أفراد المجتمع خلال الفترة المقبلة، وتحديدا في عيد الفطر المبارك الذي تفصلنا عنه أيام قلائل، حيث كثرة اللقاءات العائلية والتزاور بين افراد العائلة في أيام العيد بهدف تتبادل التهاني والتبريكات، ولابد من التقيد بكل ما جاء في الاجراءات الاحترازية وعدم التجمع في أماكن مغلقة ومخالطة الآخرين، وذلك للحفاظ على سلامة الجميع من خطر الإصابة بالسلالات الجديدة من فيروس كورونا، لافتين إلى ان الفترة الماضية شهدت تراجعا كبيرا في أعداد الإصابات اليومية، ولابد من الحفاظ على نسبة التراجع والوصول إلى أقل عدد من الإصابات اليومية، متمنين تقيد افراد المجتمع بالإجراءات الاحترازية، وعدم تبادل التهاني عن طريق المصافحة أو السلام بشكل مباشر بالملامسة، وذلك حفاظا على سلامة كبار السن والاطفال من خطر الإصابة بكورونا، إذ ان المصافحة والجلوس دون مراعاة مسافة التباعد الآمنة من الممكن ان تؤدي الى انتقال العدوى بين اكبر عدد من المتواجدين، وهو ما قد يزيد عدد حالات الإصابة مرة أخرى، آملين ان يتقيد الجميع حيث الحفظ على مسافة التباعد، وعدم المصافحة والسلام بشكل مباشر، وارتداء الكمامات أيضا، بالإضافة إلى التقيد بعدد الاشخاص المسموح تواجدهم في نفس المكان.

وطالبوا ان يكون كل فرد من أفراد المجتمع رقيبا على نفسه خلال أيام العيد، وألا يكون سببا في زيادة عدد الإصابات بإهمال الشروط والاجراءات الاحترازية.
