Sri Lanka eases restrictions on tourists from Qatar

Doha: The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Colombo confirmed that the Sri Lankan government has eased restrictions imposed on tourists coming to Sri Lanka as of 9/29/2021AD.

The Embassy explained these measures in a statement on its Twitter account as follows:

Passengers who were fully vaccinated and who completed 14 days after receiving the recommended doses of anti-covid-19 vaccination and arriving with a negative PCR result conducted within 72 hours of leaving their country or a negative Covid-19 rapid antigen test result done within 48 hours prior to departure, can leave the airport without a PCR test On the first day or undergo quarantine after arriving in Sri Lanka.

Travellers who have received recommended doses of the Covid-19 vaccine must also carry the original certificate or vaccination card with a certified copy translated to English if the certificate or card is not in English or if the relevant data in English is not indicated in a certificate, card or verifiable guide to receiving vaccination.

الدوحة: أكدت سفارة دولة قطر في كولومبو أن الحكومة السريلانكية قامت بتخفيف القيود المفروضة على السياح الوافدين إلى سريلانكا اعتبارا من 29 / 2021/9م.

وأوضحت السفارة هذه الاجراءات في بيان على حسابها بموقع تويتر على النحو التالي:

المسافرون الذين تم تطعيمهم بالكامل وأكملوا 14 يوما بعد تلقي الجرعات الموصى بها من التطعيم ووصلوا مع نتيجة سلبية ل اختباريي. سي. أر. لكوفيد-19 تم إجراؤه في غضون 72 ساعة من مغادرة بلادهم أو نتيجة اختبار مستضد سريع لكوفيد-19 السلبية تم إجراؤه في غضون 48 ساعة قبل المغادرة، بإمكانهم الخروج من المطار دون إجراء بي .سي. أر. في اليوم الأول أو الخضوع للحجر الصحي بعد الوصول إلى سريلانكا.

كما يجب أن يحمل المسافرون الذين تلقوا الجرعات الموصى بها من لقاح كوفيد-19شهادة أو بطاقة التطعيم الأصلية مع نسخة مصدقة من ترجمة اللغة الإنجليزية إذا كانت الشهادة أو البطاقة ليست باللغة الإنجليزية أو إذا لم يتم الإشارة إلى البيانات ذات الصلة باللغة الإنجليزية في شهادة أو بطاقة أو دليل قابل للتحقق من تلقي التطعيم.
