Ehteraz to allow activation using international sim
تطبيق احتراز سيسمح بالتفعيل باستخدام شريحة هاتف دولية
Doha: In its latest update of travel and return policy, the Ministry of Public Health announced that travellers will be able to activate Ehteraz using international SIM card starting October 6.
The MOPH statement said travellers should download the Ehteraz mobile application and activate it on their mobile phones using a local or international SIM card.
Passengers travelling to Qatar must download the app and activate it on arrival at Qatar’s entry ports. To do this, they need mobile internet connection and a smartphone that supports Android 6, newer versions or IOS 13.5 and later versions.
SIM cards and smartphones are available for purchase at Hamad International Airport and Abu Samra border crossing if the passenger does not own them before arrival.
Diplomats, administrative cardholders and VIP visitors arriving on official state visits are excluded from this measure.
Meanwhile, in its most recent update on September 15, Ehteraz added a new feature showing the details of the third Covid-19 vaccine dose.
الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة، في آخر تحديث لسياسة السفر والعودة، أن المسافرين سيتمكنون من تفعيل تطبيق احتراز باستخدام بطاقة SIM دولية اعتبارا من 6 أكتوبر.
وجاء في بيان وزارة الصحة أنه يجب على المسافرين تنزيل تطبيق احتراز للهاتف المحمول وتفعيله على هواتفهم المحمولة باستخدام بطاقة SIM محلية أو دولية.
يجب على المسافرين إلى قطر تنزيل التطبيق وتفعيله عند الوصول إلى منافذ الدخول القطرية. للقيام بذلك، يحتاجون إلى اتصال بالإنترنت عبر الهاتف المحمول وهاتف ذكي يدعم Android 6 أو الإصدارات الأحدث أو IOS 13.5 والإصدارات الأحدث.
تتوفر بطاقات SIM والهواتف الذكية للشراء في مطار حمد الدولي ومعبر أبو سمرة الحدودي إذا لم يكن الراكب يمتلكها قبل الوصول.
ويستثنى من هذا الإجراء الدبلوماسيون حاملو البطاقات الإدارية والزوار من كبار الشخصيات الذين يصلون في زيارات رسمية للدولة.
وفي الوقت نفسه، أضاف احتراز، في آخر تحديث له في 15 سبتمبر، ميزة جديدة تظهر تفاصيل جرعة اللقاح الثالثة من لقاح كوفيد-19.
