QNB Stars League: Umm Salal Hold Al Shamal to Draw

Doha: Umm Salal and Al Shamal shared points after a 1-1 draw in Week 5 of the 2021-2022 season QNB Stars League at the Khalifa International Stadium on Saturday.
Mohsin Al Yazidi (45+1 minute) scored for Al Shamal. However, after relentless football, Umm Salal equalized through Abdullah Khaled (83rd minute).
The match had its fair share of hits and misses all the way. Earlier in the game, Al Shamal’s Bahaa Faisal charged into the Umm Salal box and fired a shot towards an open goal, but Umm Salal’s Aymen Abdennour blocked the shot with a solo effort just close to his goalline in the fifth minute.
Umm Salal’s Ayman Ghadban backheeled a short pass to team-mate Isael Barbosa stationed close to the Al Shamal box. The Brazilian midfielder produced a high left-footed drive that sailed above the Al Shamal crossbar in the 13th minute.
Al Shamal’s Jeison Escobar opted for a long-range shot in the 25th minute, but his swinging shot was pouched by Umm Salal keeper Khalifa Aboobacker.
Umm Salal striker Yassin Bakhit, after outpacing two of his markers, drilled a left-foot shot that lacked pace and keeper Marwan Sherif pouched it with ease five minutes from the end of first half.
In injury time, Mohsin, after a cross from Escobar, fired a bullet a little distance from the edge of the box. The ball sailed past the outstretched hand of the goalkeeper and crashed into the right side of the net.
Early in the second half, Escobar attempted to deflect a loose ball in front of the goalkeeper, but failed to tap the ball in from close range. Close to the hour mark, Umm Salal’s Ali Ferydoon found a snap-header, but his deflection with a defender in tow was blocked by keeper Marwan Sherif of Al Shamal.
In the 68th minute, Bakhit, despite being heavily marked, charged into the Al Shamal box, but his tap from close range just flew above the crossbar.
After several hits and misses, Abdullah Khaled produced a slick snap-header on a long cross from the flank to send the ball crashing into the net.
Just before the final whistle, Bakhit missed a scoring chance from close range following a solo run into the Al Shamal box.

الدوحة: حسمت نتيجة التعادل الايجابي بهدف لمثله مباراة أم صلال مع الشمال التي جمعتهما يوم الأمس على استاد خليفة الدولي، في افتتاح منافسات الجولة الخامسة من الدوري القطري لكرة القدم (دوري نجوم QNB) للموسم 2021- 2022.
وافتتح محسن اليزيدي النتيجة للشمال في الدقيقة (45+1)، فيما أحرز عبدالله خالد هدف التعادل لأم صلال في الدقيقة 83.
حصد الفريقان نقطة وحيدة رفعت رصيدهما الى أربع نقاط، جمعها أم صلال من أربع تعادلات ومني بخسارة وحيدة، كما جمع الشمال هذا الرصيد من النقاط من فوز وتعادل ومني بثلاث هزائم.
وكانت الجولة الماضية شهدت خسارة أم صلال أمام الغرافة بهدف نظيف، وخسارة الشمال أمام السد بنتيجة (2 -7).
وتقام في وقت لاحق اليوم مباراتي الغرافة مع نادي قطر، والأهلي مع الريان.
جاءت مباراة أم صلال والشمال جيدة المستوى، حيث سعى الفريقان لافتتاح النتيجة وتبادلا الهجمات، وكانت الأفضلية في الشوط الأول لفريق أم صلال من خلال الاستحواذ والمراوغات وتهديد مناطق دفاع الشمال دون طائل في التسجيل، في المقابل اعتمد الشمال على هجمات مرتدة لإحداث الخطورة.
وتمكن الشمال من احراز هدف التقدم بواسطة لاعبه محسن اليزيدي في الوقت بدل الضائع في الدقيقة (45+1)، عقب تمريرة الكولومبي جيسون اسكوبار لينتهي الشوط الأول بفوز الشمال بهدف نظيف.
ومع انطلاق الشوط الثاني، تواصلت المحاولات الهجومية من الجانبين حيث بحث الشمال عن تعزيز تقدمه بهدف ثاني، فيما سعى أم صلال للعودة في المباراة وتعديل النتيجة وكاد لاعبه ياسين البخيت أن يعيد فريقه الى المباراة بعدما تجاوز أكثر من مدافع وسدد كرة قوية علت العارضة في الدقيقة 64.
ومع توالي المحاولات نجح أم صلال في احراز هدف التعادل بواسطة لاعبه عبد الله خالد بتسديدة رأسية بعد تلقيه كرة عرضية من عاطف محمد أسكنها الشباك في الدقيقة 83.
وأهدر ياسين بخيت لاعب أم صلال فرصة تسجيل الهدف الثاني وخطف النقاط الثلاث في الدقيقة 90 بعدما واجه حارس الشمال مروان شريف، لكن تسديدته مرت بجوار القائم، لينتهي اللقاء بنتيجة التعادل بهدف لمثله بين الفريقين.
ويتبارى الشمال مع العربي في الجولة السادسة المقبلة، فيما يلاقي أم صلال نظيره نادي قطر.
