US Secretary of Health announces the development of a vaccine for Coronavirus

The US Secretary of Health, Alex Azar, announced that, within three days, American doctors had developed a “potential vaccine” to treat the Corona virus (Covid-19), adding that “scientists have informed President Donald Trump of the good news.”
In a short speech from the White House garden, Azar stressed, alongside President Donald Trump and the director of the National Institutes of Health, Doctor Anthony Fushi, that the scientists are “going to inject the first patient with the new vaccine about a month from now” and said that the Food and Drug Administration American licensed the introduction of the meeting in the first phase of clinical trials.
US Vice President Mike Pence had previously stated that treatment of the Corona virus (Covid-19) might be available by summer.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the Corona virus in the United States rose to nine cases, all of which were registered in Washington state, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in the United States.
The center also announced that the number of people infected with Corona virus in the United States increased to 117, including 27 cases in Washington state.

أعلن السيد ألكس أزار وزير الصحة الأمريكي، أن أطباء أمريكيين طوروا في غضون ثلاثة أيام “لقاحا محتملا” لمعالجة فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19)، مضيفا أن “العلماء أبلغوا الرئيس دونالد ترامب بالأخبار السارة”.
وأكد أزار، في كلمة قصيرة ألقاها من حديقة البيت الأبيض، وإلى جانبه كل من الرئيس دونالد ترامب، ومدير المعاهد الوطنية للصحة، الطبيب أنتوني فوشي، أن العلماء “بصدد حقن أول مريض باللقاح الجديد بعد حوالي شهر من الآن”، وقال إن إدارة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية رخصت إدخال اللقاء في المرحلة الأولى من التجارب السريرية.
وكان نائب الرئيس الأمريكي مايك بنس صرح في وقت سابق بأن علاج فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19)، قد يصبح متوفرا بحلول الصيف.
على صعيد متصل، ارتفعت حصيلة وفيات فيروس كورونا في الولايات المتحدة إلى تسع حالات سُجّلت كلها في ولاية واشنطن، وفق ما أفاد مركز السيطرة على الأمراض والوقاية في الولايات المتحدة.
كما أعلن المركز ارتفاع عدد المصابين بفيروس كورونا في الولايات المتحدة إلى 117 حالة، منهم 27 إصابة في ولاية واشنطن.
