Awqaf Announces Easing of Precautionary Measures in Mosques

Doha: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced easing of precautionary measures in the country’s mosques, in line with the plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and to restore normal life starting next Sunday.
The Ministry decided to cancel the social distancing imposed earlier between worshippers in the five obligatory prayers and Friday prayers, and to maintain a distance of one meter during the Friday prayer sermon, and to open toilets and places of ablution in non-crowded areas.
The Ministry calls for adhering to the precautionary controls and procedures in order to ensure the safety of worshipers and members of society, which include showing EHTIRAZ app before entering the mosque, bringing personal prayer mats, and wearing mask.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية عن تخفيف الإجراءات الاحترازية في مساجد الدولة، تماشيا مع خطة الرفع التدريجي للقيود المفروضة جراء مكافحة انتشار فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) والعمل على استعادة الحياة الطبيعية، وذلك بدءاً من الأحد القادم.
وقررت الوزارة إلغاء التباعد في صلوات الفروض والجمعة، وإبقاء مسافة تباعد (1) متر لكل مصل أثناء خطبة الجمعة، وفتح دورات المياه والمتوضأ في المناطق غير المزدحمة.
وتهيب الوزارة بمرتادي المساجد الكرام، بضرورة الالتزام والتقيد بالضوابط والإجراءات الاحترازية، حرصاً على سلامة المصلّين وأفراد المجتمع، وهي إبراز تطبيق احتراز للمنظمين قبل دخول المسجد ، وإحضار كل شخص سجادة الصلاة الخاصة به ، ومراعاة ارتداء الكمامة.
