Qatar removes six countries from its COVID-19 green list of low-risk countries

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced an update to the green list for Coronavirus (COVID-19) on its website, according to public health indicators in the State of Qatar and the rest of the world, and in continuation to the implementation of the travel and return policy to the State of Qatar.

The Ministry said that the update will be implemented from next Friday until further notice, noting that this list will be reviewed and updated periodically.

The Ministry also announced the list of (COVID-19) test centers approved by the Ministry around the world, explaining that obtaining a virus-free certificate from one of these centers will exempt the person from being tested at the airport upon his arrival in Qatar, on condition that, certificate must be obtained with 48 hours before travel.

Travelers returning from low-risk countries must have COVID-19 test upon arrival at the Airport, and sign a Home Quarantine Undertaking to comply with the home quarantine procedure for a week, noting that their health status on “Ehteraz” application will be yellow.

On the sixth day, the individual should visit one of the PHCC healthcare centers to re-test for COVID-19. If the test result is positive, the individual is isolated. If it is negative, then the quarantine period is completed by the end of the seventh day and their health status on Ehteraz will change to green.

Travelers from the other countries should be hotel quarantined at their own expense for a week. They should book a quarantine package from the listed hotels on the “Discover Qatar” website for a week before arrival. These individuals will be re-tested on day 6. If the test result is positive, the individual is isolated. If it is negative, the quarantine period is completed by the end of day-7 and their health status on Ehteraz will change to green.

The Ministry of Public Health calls on the public to follow updates on developments in the Coronavirus (COVID-19) locally and internationally, and to visit the website and official accounts of the Ministry and the Government Communication Office to obtain accurate official information.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة، عن تحديث قائمة الدول المتضمنة في القائمة الخضراء الخاصة بفيروس كورونا /كوفيد – 19/ على موقعها الالكتروني، وذلك وفقا لمؤشرات الصحة العامة في دولة قطر وبقية دول العالم، واستمرارا لتطبيق سياسة السفر والعودة إلى البلاد.

وأوضحت وزارة الصحة، أن هذا التحديث سيتم العمل به اعتبارا من يوم /الجمعة/ المقبل حتى إشعار آخر، مشيرة إلى أن هذه القائمة ستتم مراجعتها وتحديثها بشكل دوري.

كما أعلنت الوزارة عن قائمة مراكز فحص /كوفيد – 19/ المعتمدة من قبلها في دول العالم، مبينة أن الحصول على شهادة خلو من الفيروس من أحد هذه المراكز سيعفي الشخص من الفحص في المطار عند وصوله إلى دولة قطر، شريطة ألا يتجاوز تاريخ الحصول على الشهادة 48 ساعة قبل السفر.

ويلتزم القادمون إلى دولة قطر من الدول المتضمنة في القائمة الخضراء بالتوقيع على تعهد رسمي بالالتزام بالحجر المنزلي لمدة أسبوع، علما بأن الحالة الصحية للشخص على تطبيق /احتراز/ ستكون باللون الأصفر، وفي اليوم السادس من الحجر الصحي يجب على الشخص أن يتوجه إلى أحد المراكز الصحية المعتمدة للقيام بفحص /كوفيد – 19/ مرة أخرى، فإذا كانت النتيجة إيجابية، يتم نقل الشخص إلى العزل، وإذا كانت سلبية فإن فترة الحجر تنتهي بإتمام اليوم السابع وتتغير الحالة الصحية للشخص على تطبيق /احتراز/ إلى اللون الأخضر.

كما يلتزم القادمون من بقية الدول التي لم يرد ذكرها في القائمة الخضراء بالحجر الفندقي على نفقتهم الخاصة لمدة أسبوع، على أن يتم حجز الإقامة بالفندق عبر الموقع الإلكتروني لـ/اكتشف قطر/ وذلك قبل وصولهم لدولة قطر، وفي اليوم السادس من تاريخ بداية الحجر الفندقي سيكون خروج الأشخاص مرتبطا بإجراء فحص /كوفيد – 19/، فإذا كانت النتيجة إيجابية، يتم نقل الشخص إلى العزل، وإذا كانت سلبية فإن فترة الحجر تنتهي بإتمام اليوم السابع وتتغير الحالة الصحية للشخص على تطبيق /احتراز/ إلى اللون الأخضر.
