QC Distributes School Bags To Orphans in Kyrgyzstan

Doha: Qatar Charity (QC) carried out the school bag distribution project for the year 2021-2022 in cooperation with UNICEF and in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education in Kyrgyzstan, benefiting 7,000 students from children of poor families and orphans in 25 schools in Chuy Province.

The goal of the project is to alleviate the burdens of children’s study requirements to build an educated generation that serves itself, its community, and its nation.

Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Nurlan Omurov, UNICEF representative Christine Jaulmes and several local officials distributed the school bags.

This project stems from Qatar Charity’s belief that education is essential for the development process in all countries, Qatar Charity’s Kyrgyzstan office acting director Mohammed Hammam Al Samman said, adding that with this project, Qatar Charity aims to provide students with educational attainment tools and help the parents meet their children’s school needs.

Qatar Charity sponsors 8,065 persons, including orphans and poor families, and provides them with comprehensive social care services such as education, health care, and cultural, development and sports activities.

Qatar Charity is currently implementing 503 different projects. These include building health centers, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, information technology schools, and other educational institutions in various regions. It is expected that the construction of four schools will be completed before the end of 2021.

الدوحة: قامت قطر الخيرية بتنفيذ مشروع توزيع الحقيبة المدرسية للعام 2021- 2022 بالتعاون مع منظمة اليونيسيف وبالتنسيق مع وزارة التعليم العالي بقرغيزيا، استفاد منها 7 آلاف طالب من الأيتام وأبناء الأسر الفقيرة في 25 مدرسة بمحافظة تشوي.

ويأتي ذلك في إطار مساعدة أسر الأيتام والأسر الفقيرة وتخفيف أعباء متطلبات دراسة أبنائهم من أجل بناء جيل متعلم يخدم نفسه ومجتمعه وأمته.

وقام بالتوزيع كل من السيد نورلان أوموروف نائب وزير التربية والتعليم العالي، وعدد من المسؤولين المحليين، والسيدة كريستين زولم ممثل اليونيسيف.

وقال السيد محمد همام السمان مدير مكتب قطر الخيرية بقرغيزيا بالإنابة إن هذا المشروع يأتي انطلاقا من إيمان قطر الخيرية بأن التعليم يعتبر الركيزة الأساسية للمسيرة التنموية في كل الدول وتسعى قطر الخيرية من خلال هذا المشروع إلى توفير أدوات التحصيل العلمي للطلاب، والتخفيف عن أولياء أمورهم الذين يجدون صعوبة بالغة في توفير الاحتياجات المدرسية لأبنائهم.

الجدير بالذكر أن قطر الخيرية تكفل (8065) شخصا من الأيتام والأسر الفقيرة وتقدم لهم خدمات الرعاية الاجتماعية الشاملة ممثلة في الخدمات التعليمية والرعاية الصحية والأنشطة الثقافية والتنموية والرياضية.

يشار إلى أن قطر الخيرية تنفذ حاليا 503 مشاريع مختلفة تتمثل في بناء المراكز الصحية والمستشفيات والمدارس ورياض الأطفال ومدارس لتكنولوجيا المعلومات ومؤسسات تعليمية أخرى في مختلف المناطق وينتظر أن يتم الانتهاء من بناء 4 مدارس قبل نهاية العام 2021.
