Here are the pros and cons of the iPhone 13

The results of the iPhone 13 tests carried out by a number of technology experts on the new phone revealed by Apple a week ago confirm some of the positives announced, but there are those who consider that the producing company did not keep its promise.

However, Stern lamented that some camera and video improvements did not keep Apple’s promise, saying: “The results were not strict enough because someone with an iPhone 12 would not need – or even want – more than a normal iPhone 13.

* Video

Holland also admired Apple’s iOS 15 on Pro devices, noting that it “adds a range of features.”

* Game changer

Brian Chen, a reviewer for The New York Times, described the new models as perhaps “the most gradual update of the iPhone ever,” noting that the latest version of the iPhone is only 10% of the previous year’s models, while the higher update rate on the more expensive Pro and Pro Max phones “barely changes the rules of the game.” However, Chen also explained that cameras are better than previous year’s models, especially in low light.

“Improvements in the new iPhone cameras were more pronounced in low-light images taken using night mode, which take multiple images and then combine them together while making color and contrast adjustments,” he wrote.

Max’s low-light shots immediately after sunset were more visible when captured using the iPhone 13 Pro than the iPhone 12.

* Image quality

Matthew Panzarino, reviewer at TechCrunch, tested the new devices: “Overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had for a phone test in the parks, with a continuous series of dazzling moments with cameras.”

“I ended up with a lot of beautiful shots like Wide Angle for night mode and close-ups, which impressed me a lot.”

“The iPhone 13 is impressive this year, with strong improvements in image quality, battery life and screen improvements that are supposed to serve Apple well over the next 12 months,” Panzarino said.

* Repeated designing of iPhone 12 Pro

Dieter Boone, reviewer of The Verge, said last year’s improvements in models are “important but not clear at first glance,” highlighting the camera system, battery life and update rate.

The battery, camera and screen update seems to have become a frequent annual update; Apple seems to be used to doing it for iPhones every year, according to Bon, who said, “It’s true that the design is almost identical to last year’s iPhone 12 Pro design. But this does not diminish the magnitude of other changes.”
