The biggest ‘Summer in Qatar’ (SiQ) programme wrapped up on Friday after a week of colourful Eid al-Adha celebrations in Souq Waqif, Souq Al Wakrah, Katara – the Cultural Village and the partner shopping malls, as well as a lineup of multicultural music, comedy, theatre and movie award shows. The grand finale of SiQ’s shopping celebration was held at Mall of Qatar, with winners of the third and final raffle draw announced. During Eid holidays, residents and visitors enjoyed a Kuwaiti play Khutuat AlShaytan at the Qatar National Theatre while Blue Man Group enthralled young and old with their novel visual arts performance. Omid Djalili, Nemr Abou Nassar and Hamad al-Amari had audiences in fits at the Doha Comedy Festival while Kadim al-Saher serenaded audiences for two nights. The 8th South Indian International Movie Awards also brought a galaxy of hundreds of South Indian film stars to Lusail Sports Arena to attend the two-day mega awards show. Adding to the Eid joy and excitement was the opening of Qatar’s first-ever indoor snow themed park Snow Dunes at Doha Festival City on the second day of Eid, where families enjoyed ice-cold temperature and a variety of activities and rides spread over 9,500sq m. SiQ’s retail offering featured three monthly raffle draws, announced by the Qatar National Tourism Council and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Shoppers were able to participate in the draws with every purchase of QR200 or above at any of the 10 participating malls. A total of 27 prizes worth QR2mn were claimed during the season. In the third and final draw, eight shoppers won cash prizes worth QR300,000, while one lucky winner took home the grand prize: a McLaren Spider 570s (2018 model). The winners of the final draw are: voucher numbers 164361, 126162, 162364, 190043, and 053183 (QR20,000 each); 292281 and 076746 (QR50,000 each); 230892 (QR100,000); and 280915 (McLaren Spider 570s [2018 model]).
اختتمت يوم الجمعة الماضي، فعاليات أضخم موسم صيفي شهدته قطر حتى الآن، وذلك بالتزامن مع ختام أسبوع احتفالات عيد الأضحى، والذي كان غنياً بالفعاليات والحفلات الفنية والترفيهية في كل من سوق واقف، وسوق الوكرة، والحي الثقافي «كتارا»، بالإضافة إلى المراكز التجارية المشاركة في موسم الصيف؛ حيث استضاف مول قطر السحب الثالث والأخير من سحوبات موسم «الصيف في قطر»، والذي كان بمنزلة الختام لفعاليات «الصيف في قطر». وخلال عطلة عيد الأضحى، استمتع الزوار والمقيمون بالعرض المسرحي «خطوات الشيطان»، والذي عُرض على خشبة مسرح قطر الوطني. كما استضاف مركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات عرض فريق «بلو مان جروب» الذي أبهر الجمهور من الكبار والصغار، بالإضافة إلى العرض الثاني من عروض مهرجان الدوحة للكوميديا؛ حيث التقى الجمهور كلاً من أوميد جليلي، ونمر أبو نصار، والمبدع حمد العماري. كما شهد مركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات تألق الفنان العراقي الكبير كاظم الساهر في ليلتي 16 و17 أغسطس، في حين استضافت صالة لوسيل الرياضية النسخة الثامنة من حفل توزيع جوائز مهرجان أفلام جنوب الهند السينمائية على مدار يومي 15 و16 أغسطس. تجربة مميزة كما شهد ثاني أيام عيد الأضحى افتتاح» سنو ديونز»، أول منتزه ثلجي في قطر، في دوحة فيستيفال سيتي على مساحة 9500 متر مربع، ليقدم للجمهور في قطر تجربة استثنائية من خلال مجموعة متنوعة من الألعاب والأنشطة. سحوبات وقد جاءت السحوبات الثلاثة التي أقيمت على مدى ثلاثة أشهر ضمن عروض قطاع التجزئة للصيف في قطر، التي أطلقها المجلس الوطني للسياحة ووزارة التجارة والصناعة؛ حيث أُتيح لكل متسوق ينفق 200 ريال أو أكثر في أي من مراكز التسوق المشاركة في برنامج الصيف في قطر أن يشارك في السحوبات. وقد تم تقديم 27 جائزة تبلغ قيمتها الإجمالية مليوني ريال. وفيما يلي قائمة بأسماء المتسوقين الفائزين في السحب الأخير: قيمة الجائزة رقم القسيمة الفائزة 20 ألف ريال 164361 20 ألف ريال 126162 20 ألف ريال 162364 20 ألف ريال 190043 20 ألف ريال 053183 50 ألف ريال 292281 50 ألف ريال 076746 100 ألف ريال 230892 280915 ماكلارين سبايدر 570 أس (موديل 2018)
