Citizens to Al-Sharq: low-level content on social media threatens our youth

Doha: Citizens have called on concerned parties to set strict laws regarding the content of social media sites, which have become a window used by some influencers to promote low-level content, as the phenomenon of appearing in an anti-public chastity scandalous dress and dance has become widespread, which may affect the lifestyle of our young men and women, especially since such extraneous phenomena have become widespread among young people and adolescents of both sexes.

In a survey conducted by Al-Sharq, they confirmed the emergence of some influencers, particularly girls, who live among us through social media in scandalous dress and engage in unacceptable behaviour in our conservative society, calling for censorship of what is posted on social media sites and the implementation of deterrent penalties for anyone who promotes inappropriate or immoral acts or appears in indecent dress accompanied by dances and swaying, as the failure to take such legal measures against them makes them dare to commit such acts almost In front of tens of thousands of followers of different age groups, repeating their demand on the need for legislation, laws and deterrent sanctions that oblige all influencers of both sexes to conservative Qatari customs and traditions and good Islamic morals and not to appear in indecent clothing through their platforms on social media, especially since such laws have been implemented successfully within commercial complexes and public places, and must also be applied to the contents of social media.

الدوحة: طالب مواطنون الجهات المعنية في الدولة بوضع قوانين حازمة بما يخص محتوى السوشيال ميديا ومواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، التي أصبحت نافذة يستغلها بعض المؤثرين للترويج عن محتوى هابط، حيث باتت تنتشر ظاهرة الظهور بلباس فاضح وخادش للحياة والرقص، مما قد يؤثر على نمط حياة شبابنا وبناتنا، خاصة أن مثل هذه الظواهر الدخيلة أصبحت تتفشى على نطاق واسع بين أوساط الشباب والمراهقين من الجنسين.

وأكدوا خلال استطلاع أجرته “الشرق” ظهور بعض المؤثرين من الفتيات على وجه الخصوص ممن يعيشون بيننا عبر السوشيال ميديا بلباس فاضح ويقومون بتصرفات غير مقبولة في مجتمعنا المحافظ، داعين إلى فرض الرقابة على ما ينشر عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وتنفيذ عقوبات رادعة لكل من يروج لفعل غير لائق أو لا أخلاقي أو يظهر بلباس غير محتشم مصحوبا بالرقصات والتمايل، حيث ان عدم اتخاذ مثل هذه الاجراءات القانونية ضدهم يجعلهم يتمادون في ارتكاب هذه التصرفات شبه اليومية وأمام عشرات الآلاف من المتابعين من مختلف الفئات العمرية، مكررين مطلبهم حول ضرورة وجود تشريعات وقوانين وعقوبات رادعة تلزم كافة المؤثرين من الجنسين بالعادات والتقاليد القطرية المحافظة والاخلاق الاسلامية الحميدة وعدم الظهور بلباس غير محتشم عبر منصاتهم على مواقع التواصل، خصوصا أن مثل هذه القوانين نجح تطبيقها داخل المجمعات التجارية والأماكن العامة، ولابد من تطبيقها أيضا على محتويات السوشيال ميديا.
