MoEHE Holds Introductory Meeting with Private Schools

Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the School Evaluation Department, held a remote introductory meeting with all private schools in the State of Qatar to brief them about the updated evaluation processes for mandatory evaluation, the national school accreditation, and evaluation of the promotion of the Qatari national identity and culture.

A total of 180 private schools attended the meeting.

Director of the School Evaluation Department Mona Mohammed Al Kuwari explained that the Department is implementing several school evaluation processes for private schools, namely the periodic evaluation of private kindergartens, the mandatory evaluation two years after the opening of the school, and the evaluation and granting of national school accreditation.

She added that in line with the policy of the State of Qatar to enhance the national identity of students in all private schools, and to increase oversight of private schools to ensure that they achieve educational quality and raise the level of their performance, a number of measures have been taken starting from the previous academic year 2020-2021, which are updating and revising policies and conditions related to evaluation, school accreditation and national identity, through the issuance of the unified guide for evaluating public and private kindergartens.

She referred to updating and revising the fields and criteria for mandatory assessment and national accreditation, adapting the fields and criteria for mandatory assessment and national accreditation to suit the process of distance learning and blended learning, preparing and issuing a document for national school accreditation and international accreditation policies, in addition to strengthening the national identity in comprehensive educational opinion polls and the school performance report.

الدوحة: عقدت وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي ممثلة في إدارة تقييم المدارس اليوم لقاء تعريفياً مع جميع المدارس الخاصة في دولة قطر عن بُعد لاطلاعهم على آخر المستجدات الخاصة بعمليات التقييم المحدّثة للتقييم الإلزامي، والاعتماد المدرسي الوطني، وتقييم تعزيز الهوية الوطنية والثقافة القطرية، وذلك بحضور 180 مدرسة خاصة.

وأوضحت السيدة منى محمد الكواري مديرة إدارة تقييم المدارس بالوزارة، خلال اللقاء، أن الإدارة تقوم بتنفيذ عدة عمليات للتقييم المدرسي للمدارس الخاصة، وهي التقييم الدوري لرياض الأطفال الخاصة، والتقييم الإلزامي بعد مرور عامين على افتتاح المدرسة، وتقييم ومنح الاعتماد المدرسي الوطني.

وأضافت انه تماشياً مع سياسة دولة قطر في تعزيز الهوية الوطنية للطلبة في كافة المدارس الخاصة، وزيادة الرقابة على المدارس الخاصة لضمان تحقيقها للجودة التعليمية ورفع مستوى أدائها، فقد تم اتخاذ عدد من الإجراءات بدءاً من العام الأكاديمي السابق 2020-2021م، وهي تحديث وتنقيح السياسات والشروط الخاصة بالتقييم والاعتماد المدرسي والهوية الوطنية، من خلال إصدار الدليل الموحد لتقييم رياض الأطفال الحكومية والخاصة.

وأشارت إلى تحديث وتنقيح مجالات ومعايير التقييم الإلزامي والاعتماد الوطني، وتكييف مجالات ومعايير التقييم الإلزامي والاعتماد الوطني لتتناسب مع عملية “التعلم عن بُعد والتعلم المدمج”، وإعداد وإصدار وثيقة لسياسات الاعتماد المدرسي الوطني والاعتماد الدولي، علاوة على تعزيز الهوية الوطنية في استطلاعات الرأي التربوي الشامل وبطاقة تقرير الأداء المدرسي، كما تمت الاستعانة بعدد من المدارس الخاصة لمراجعة هذه الأدلة وإثرائها بملاحظاتهم، وإدراج معايير خاصة بتعزيز الهوية الوطنية للاعتماد الوطني.

وتم خلال اللقاء التعريفي استعراض أهم التحديثات التي طرأت على عمليات التقييم المدرسي.
