Doha: The Qatari shooting team will participate in the World Cup Shotgun which will start in Egypt today, with the participation of 400 athletes, representing 31 countries.
The Qatari shooting team arrived in Cairo yesterday to participate in the competitions, after they finished training at the Lusail fields complex on Saturday.
The mission is headed by Ibrahim Al Mohannadi, a member of the shooting teams committee. The Qatari national team is represented in the championship by Nasser Al Attiyah and Rashid Saleh in the Skeet competition, and Mohammed Al Rumaihi and Saeed Abu Sharb in the Trap event.
The team’s participation in this tournament is within the framework of the final preparation for the competitions of the World Rifle, Pistol, Shotgun, which will be held in India from March 18 to 28. It is the last qualifying tournament for the upcoming Olympic Games in Japan.

الدوحة: يشارك المنتخب القطري للرماية في منافسات بطولة كأس العالم لرماية الأطباق التي تنطلق اليوم/الإثنين/ في مصر، بمشاركة 400 رياضي، يمثلون 31 دولة.
وكانت بعثة الرماية القطرية قد وصلت إلى القاهرة الأمس، للمشاركة في منافسات البطولة، بعد أن أنهت يوم السبت التدريبات في مجمع ميادين لوسيل.
ويترأس البعثة إبراهيم المهندي عضو لجنة منتخبات الرماية، ويمثل المنتخب القطري في البطولة كل من الرماة: ناصر العطية وراشد صالح في مسابقة الاسكيت، ومحمد الرميحي وسعيد أبو شارب في مسابقة التراب.
وتأتي مشاركة الرماية القطرية في هذه البطولة في إطار الإعداد النهائي لمنافسات بطولة العالم لرماية الأطباق والبندقية والمسدس التي تنظم في الهند خلال الفترة من 18 إلى 28 مارس المقبل وهي آخر البطولات المؤهلة للألعاب الأولمبية القادمة في اليابان، حيث يسعى رماة /الأدعم/ لجمع أكبر عدد ممكن من النقاط المؤهلة للأولمبياد.
