Ministry of Culture Holds Workshop on National Identity, Cultural Enrichment, Sports Excellence
وزارة الثقافة تطلق ورشة عمل إعداد استراتيجية الهوية الوطنية والإثراء الثقافي والتميز الرياضي

Doha: The Ministry of Culture organized a workshop today for the team working on preparing the strategy for national identity, cultural enrichment, and sports excellence, launched within the 3rd National Development Strategy for (2023-20230).
The team includes 32 active partners in the cultural, sports, and educational scenes, including the Ministry of Sports and Youth, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Qatar Museums, the Qatar Media Corporation, Qatar University, Qatar Olympic Committee, and Aspire, amongst others.
The workshop will continue until Thursday and will discuss four axes: national identity, culture, media, as well as sports and youth.
The workshop started with a review of the national identity founding paper prepared by the work team and reviewed by a number of experts, specialists and thinkers interested in the topic of national identity.
The work team determined the strategic results that must be reached by the end of the strategy period, in accordance with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
The workshop discussed the strengthening of the sense of belonging to the State of Qatar and to the Arabic language, consolidating awareness and taking part in the rich cultural heritage, as well as enhancing interest in material cultural heritage.
The Director of the planning, quality and innovation department at the Ministry of Culture Amna Al Buainain said in an exclusive statement to the Qatar News Agency (QNA) that the workshop presented the national identity founding document, which aims to unify strategic orientations, set procedural concepts to focus and work on the explicit and implicit elements of national identity.
As for the workshop’s outputs, Al Buainain clarified that the workshop serves as an occasion to bring participants together to set the national identity strategic orientation, as well as that of the media and culture, in addition to coming up with outcomes, goals, and performance indicators, to help measure future change and initiative groups.
For her part, Head of the strategic planning department at the Ministry of Culture Latifa Al Kuwari said in a similar statement to QNA that today’s workshop is the first workshop of the 3rd National Development Strategy, which started with the identity axis due to it being the focus, followed by the axis of culture and then the axis of media development, accordingly. To that end, a group of cooperative partners was invited to attend the workshop, with the number of participants being 70 people, pointing out that the workshop aims to come up with results, goals, and projects that fall within the 3rd National Development Strategy.

الدوحة: انطلقت ورشة “عمل فريق إعداد استراتيجية قطاع الهوية الوطنية والإثراء الثقافي والتميز الرياضي”، التي تنظمها وزارة الثقافة، ضمن استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة للفترة (2023 – 20230).
ويضم الفريق 32 شريكا من الشركاء الفاعلين في المجالات الثقافية، والرياضية، والتعليمية، ومنهم وزارة الرياضة والشباب، ووزارة التربية والتعليم والتعليم العالي، ووزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، ومتاحف قطر، والمؤسسة القطرية للإعلام، وجامعة قطر، واللجنة الأولمبية، وأسباير، وغيرها من المؤسسات الفاعلة.
وتناقش الورشة، التي تستمر حتى الخميس المقبل، أربعة محاور هي: محور الهوية الوطنية، محور الثقافة، محور الإعلام، بالإضافة إلى محور الرياضة والشباب.
وبدأت الورشة باستعراض الورقة التأسيسية لإطار الهوية الوطنية، أعدها فريق العمل، وراجعها عدد من الخبراء والمختصين والمفكرين المهتمين بالهوية الوطنية، حيث قام فريق العمل بتحديد النتائج الاستراتيجية المتوقع الوصول إليها بنهاية فترة الاستراتيجية، عملا على تحقيق أهداف رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، كما تتناول مناقشة تقوية الشعور بالانتماء إلى دولة قطر واللغة العربي، وترسيخ الوعي والمشاركة بالتراث الثقافي غير المادي، وتعزيز الاهتمام بالتراث الثقافي المادي.
وقالت آمنة البوعينين مدير إدارة التخطيط والجودة والابتكار في وزارة الثقافة، في تصريحات خاصة لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/: “قدمنا خلال الورشة الورقة التأسيسية للهوية الوطنية، وأهميتها في توحيد توجهات الاستراتيجية، وتحديد مفاهيم إجرائية للتركيز، والعمل على مكونات الهوية الظاهرة والعميقة”.
وفيما يخص مخرجات الورشة، أوضحت آمنه البوعينين أن الورشة ستختتم بمجموعة من المخرجات الهادفة، التي سيستفيد منها المشاركون في التوافق على التوجه الاستراتيجي المتعلق بالهوية الوطنية، والتوجهات الاستراتيجية المتعلقة بالمجالات الأخرى، مثل الإعلام والثقافة، علاوة على الخروج بمجموعة من النتائج والأهداف ومؤشرات الأداء، التي تساعد في قياس التغير بالمستقبل ومجموعات المبادرات.
من جهتها، ذكرت لطيفة الكواري رئيس قسم التخطيط الاستراتيجي بوزارة الثقافة، في تصريح مماثل لـ /قنا/، أن ورشة اليوم تعتبر أولى ورشات استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة التي بدأت بمحور الهوية بناء على مسمى الاستراتيجية والتركيز على الهوية الوطنية، ومن ثم محور الثقافة ومحور التطوير الإعلامي، وبناء على ذلك تم التنسيق، ودعوة مجموعة من الشركاء المتعاونين معنا لحضور الورشة، وبمشاركة 70 شخصا، لافتة إلى أن من أهداف إقامة الورشة الوصول إلى نتائج وأهداف ومشاريع تندرج ضمن استراتيجية التنمية الوطنية الثالثة التي تستمر من 2023 حتى 2030.
