Kahramaa officials visit workers on World Humanitarian Day
“كهرماء” تحتفل باليوم العالمي للعمل الإنساني
DOHA: Officials of Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has visited workers at a work site of a project of Doha Metro Power Station on the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day.
Kahramaa said that the celebration of World Humanitarian Day for the second year in a row reflects its keen interest in the humanitarian aspect through its commitment and responsibility to establish a culture of cooperation among the members of society as well as building bridges of communication and solidarity and promote the values of the society.
Kahramaa said in a press release that this visit comes in recognition of the important role played by those workers in its projects to achieve the strategic objectives of the institution, and the importance of humanitarian work in the rise of societies.
The General Electricity and Water Corporation also pointed out that this visit seeks to spread the culture of volunteering and the concept of giving in the humanitarian field, in recognition of the efforts of the its staff in delivering the message of the World Humanitarian Day.
A number of employees volunteered to visit the workers at the sites with the aim of honouring them and expressing their gratitude. Kahramaa also will continue the support of humanitarian initiatives, commitment community responsibilities and to raising awareness among community members and volunteers about the importance of the country’s precious resources.
احتفلت المؤسسة العامة القطرية للكهرباء والماء “كهرماء” باليوم العالمي للعمل الإنساني الذي يوافق 19 أغسطس من كل عام، حيث قامت في هذا الاطار بتنظيم زيارة ميدانية إلى مواقع العمال في محطة كهرباء مترو غرب الدوحة الرئيسية.
وأكدت كهرماء أن احتفالها باليوم العالمي للعمل الانساني للعام الثاني على التوالي يعكس اهتمامها بالجانب الإنساني عبر التزامها ومسؤوليتها بترسيخ ثقافة التعاون بين افراد المجتمع ومد جسور التواصل والتكافل وتعزيز قيم الخير المتأصلة في المجتمع.
وذكرت كهرماء أن تلك الزيارة تأتي تقديراً للدور الهام الذي يقوم به العاملون في مشاريعها لتحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للمؤسسة، وتأكيداً على أهمية العمل الإنساني في نهوض المجتمعات.
كما أشارت إلى أن هذه الزيارة تسعى إلى نشر ثقافة التطوع وغرس مفهوم العطاء في المجال الإنساني والاعتراف بمجهودات العاملين في المؤسسة لإيصال رسالة اليوم العالمي للعمل الإنساني، حيث قام عدد من موظفي كهرماء بالتطوع لزيارة العمال في مواقع العمل وذلك بهدف تكريمهم والتعبير عن الشكر لهم بما يعد تجسيدا للقيم والمبادئ الإنسانية.
ونوهت كهرماء إلى مواصلة دعمها للمبادرات الإنسانية ومسؤولياتها المجتمعية المعنية، وتوعية افراد المجتمع والمتطوعين المشاركين في تنفيذها بأهمية الموارد الثمينة للبلاد وشعورهم بالانتماء والمسؤولية تجاه تحقيق اهداف التنمية المستدامة، وتوجيه رسالة واضحة لتعزيز ثقافة وأهمية العمل الانساني.
