Qatari Plane Carrying Humanitarian Aid Arrives at Kabul International Airport

Kabul: A Qatari plane carrying humanitarian aid provided by Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD) and Qatar Charity has arrived at Kabul International Airport in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The aid include 17 tons of medical aid and basic food products such as rice, sugar, salt, flour and infant formula.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Afghanistan Saeed bin Mubarak Al Khayareen attended the arrival of the plane.
HE the Ambassador also witnessed the launch of the first domestic civil flight of a total of two flights from Kabul to Kandahar Airport and Mazar-i-Sharif Airport after the recent events.
HE the Ambassador said that a Qatari technical team was able to reopen Kabul Airport to receive humanitarian aid and flights, and that the airport will be ready for international civil flights soon.

كابول: وصلت طائرة قطرية تحمل مساعدات إنسانية مقدمة من صندوق قطر للتنمية وقطر الخيرية، إلى مطار كابول الدولي في جمهورية أفغانستان الإسلامية.
واحتوت المساعدات على 17 طناً من المساعدات الطبية والمواد الغذائية الأساسية مثل: الأرز، السكر، الملح، الطحين وحليب الأطفال.
وكان في استقبال الطائرة سعادة السيد سعيد بن مبارك الخيارين سفير دولة قطر لدى أفغانستان .
كما حضر سعادة السفير، انطلاق أول رحلة مدنية داخلية من إجمالي رحلتين من كابول إلى مطار قندهار ومزار الشريف بعد الأحداث الأخيرة.
وقال سعادته، إن فريقا فنيا قطريا تمكّن من إعادة فتح مطار كابول لاستقبال المساعدات والرحلات الإنسانية، وأن المطار سوف يكون جاهزا للرحلات المدنية الدولية قريبا.
