German Footballer Mesut Ozil Impressed by Aspetar Services and Facilities

Doha: German footballer Mesut Ozil paid a visit to Aspetar today, where he toured the hospital and learned about the cutting-edge facilities and services provided to elite athletes from a range of sports, and expressed his great admiration for Aspetars facilities

Ozil noted he was proud to see Qatar organizing the World Cup 2022 and expressed his great admiration for Aspetars facilities, commenting: “Its the first time Im seeing a concept like this. Its showing that it has been thought through from A to Z, which makes it unique and important for all the sports clubs. Such kind of facilities should be available across the world. Usually in the clubs, in case of injury, the players are treated at specialized hospitals, if you have knee injury you go to a specialized hospital, if you have a mental injury you go to a mental hospital, but here I see that Aspetar has everything under one roof, really, its one of the best facilities Ive ever seen.”

Ozil is in Doha for a private visit to the country that will host the first World Cup in the Middle East; and where Aspetar is one of the best centers for athlete care in the world, having adopted a comprehensive vision that makes it a global reference center in the field of sports medicine.

الدوحة: أبدى النجم الألماني ولاعب نادي فنربخشه التركي مسعود أوزيل إعجابه بـ/سبيتار/، مستشفى جراحة العظام والطب الرياضي في قطر، وذلك خلال زيارته له يوم الأمس، حيث تجول في مختلف أنحاء المستشفى وتعرف على أهم المرافق والخدمات التي يقدمها للرياضيين من مختلف التخصصات.

وأشاد النجم السابق لفريقي ريال مدريد الإسباني وأرسنال الإنجليزي بمرافق سبيتار، ما جعله قبلة لنجوم الرياضة في العالم، كما أبدى فخره بتنظيم دولة قطر لمونديال 2022.

وقال مسعود أوزيل حول زيارته للمستشفى، إنها المرة الأولى التي أشاهد فيها مستشفى بهذا التصميم، ما يؤكد أنه قد تم وضعه بطريقة محكمة ومدروسة، هذا الصرح مفيد جدا للفرق، ومثل هذه المنشآت لابد أن تكون متاحة في مختلف أماكن العالم، عادة إصابة أي لاعب قد تضطره للعلاج في مستشفى متخصص، فإذا كانت الإصابة على مستوى الركبة فإن اللاعب يتجه لعيادة الركبة مثلا.. وإذا كانت الإصابة في الرأس فحتما سيتجه لعيادة مختصة، لكن هنا تتوفر كل التخصصات تحت سقف واحد، إنه واحد من أفضل المستشفيات في العالم التي شاهدتها في حياتي.
