Jordan’s Government Debt Decreases

Amman: The Jordanian Ministry of Finance said that the country’s government debt decreased at the end of last June by 170 million dollars to reach 38.845 billion dollars, or 85.8% of the gross domestic product.

The ministry indicated in a statement that the state’s public revenues rose until the end of the second quarter of this year by $1.724 billion, as domestic revenues increased by $1.1 billion, and external grants increased by $624 million.

عمان: قالت وزارة المالية الأردنية إن الدين الحكومي للبلاد انخفض في نهاية يونيو الماضي بواقع 170 مليون دولار ليصل إلى 38.845 مليار دولار أو ما نسبته 85.8%، من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي.

وبينت الوزارة في بيان لها أن الإيرادات العامة للدولة، ارتفعت حتى نهاية الربع الثاني من العام الجاري بمقدار 1.724 مليار دولار، حيث زادت الإيرادات المحلية بمقدار 1.1 مليار دولار، والمنح الخارجية 624 مليون دولار.
