WhatsApp is testing an amazing feature that millions have been waiting for

WhatsApp has added a new feature that users have waited for for years, with some now able to take advantage of access to their correspondence from 5 devices linked to one account at the same time.

However, the feature is still in the testing phase on some devices currently, according to Russia Today, quoting the “WABetainfo” website, which specializes in smart application news.

According to the site, what is important in this feature is that once the application is loaded into the devices and connected to a single account, the user will be able to access his communications via computer, for example, without needing the smartphone, on which the WhatsApp account was first created and without having the phone connected to the Internet.

This feature is currently being tested with the 2.21.14.1 trial version of WhatsApp via Android devices, and is supposed to reach other types of devices later.

Available information indicates that user correspondence after the feature is applied will remain encrypted using WhatsApp algorithms.

لكن الميزة ما تزال في مرحلة الاختبار على بعض الأجهزة حاليا، وفق روسيا اليوم نقلاً عن موقع “WABetainfo” المتخصص في أخبار التطبيقات الذكية.

وبحسب الموقع فإن المهم في هذه الميزة أنه وبمجرد تحميل التطبيق في الأجهزة وربطها بحساب واحد سيتمكن المستخدم من الوصول إلى مراسلاته عبر الحاسب مثلا ودون أن يحتاج إلى هاتفه الذكي الذي فعّل عليه الحساب على “واتساب” أولا، ودون الحاجة لأن يكون الهاتف متصلا بالإنترنت.

وتختبر هذه الميزة حاليا بالنسخة التجربية رقم 2.21.14.1 لتطبيق “واتساب” عبر أجهزة أندرويد، ومن المفترض أن تصل إلى أنواع أخرى من الأجهزة لاحقا.

وتشير المعلومات المتوفرة إلى أن مراسلات المستخدمين بعد تطبيق الميزة ستبقى مشفّرة باستخدام خوارزميات “واتساب”.
