Doha: The “Washington Post” newspaper reported on Tuesday that human remains were found in the wheel of a U.S. military plane after landing in one of the countries coming from Kabul.
A U.S. official said that U.S. forces fired in the air to deter people trying to force their way into a military flight dedicated to evacuate U.S. diplomats and embassy staff.
At least five people were reportedly killed in the chaos that led to the suspension of evacuation flights. This is according to Russia’s Sputnik agency.
Three sources familiar with the matter said the human remains were found in the wheel of a U.S. Air Force C-17 plane from Kabul airport on Monday.
The crew declared a state of emergency during take-off from the Afghan capital’s airport after the landing gear was hampered and human remains were later found, and two officials, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, said the discovery came after the plane was diverted to another location and landed there.
It was not immediately clear whether the plane in question was the same one that was filmed in the widely circulated videos that appear to show two people falling from a C-17 as it was leaving the airport, and a fourth official on Monday said he believed people had “undoubtedly” fallen from the plane and that the video is real, according to Russia Today
Many clips of Afghans trying to escape by climbing on U.S. and other military aircraft have circulated on social media during the past days, some of them falling horribly off planes flying in the sky.

الدوحة: أفادت صحيفة “واشنطن بوست” يوم الثلاثاء بأنه تم العثور على بقايا بشرية بعجلة طائرة عسكرية أمريكية بعد هبوطها بإحدى الدول قادمة من كابل.
وقال مسؤول أمريكي إن القوات الأمريكية أطلقت النار في الهواء لردع الأشخاص الذين حاولوا شق طريقهم نحو رحلة جوية عسكرية لإجلاء الدبلوماسيين الأمريكيين وموظفي السفارة، في حين أفادت أنباء بمقتل خمسة أشخاص على الأقل في الفوضى التي أدت إلى توقف رحلات الإجلاء. وذلك وفقا لوكالة سبوتنيك الروسية.
من جهتها قالت ثلاثة مصادر مطلعة على الموضوع إن الأشلاء البشرية تم العثور عليها في عجلة طائرة من طراز C-17 تابعة لسلاح الجو الأمريكي من مطار كابل أمس الاثنين.
وأعلن طاقم الطائرة حالة طوارئ أثناء الإقلاع من مطار العاصمة الأفغانية بعدما تعرقل سحب عجلة الهبوط وعثر فيها على بقايا بشرية لاحقا،وقال اثنان من المسؤولين، شريطة عدم الكشف عن هويتهما لحساسية الموضوع، إن الاكتشاف جاء بعد أن تم تحويل الطائرة إلى موقع آخر وهبطت هناك.
ولم يتضح على الفور ما إذا كانت الطائرة المعنية هي نفسها التي تم تصويرها في مقاطع فيديو انتشر على نطاق واسع ويظهر على ما يبدو أنهما شخصان يسقطان من طائرة C-17 أثناء مغادرتها المطار، وعبر مسؤول رابع الاثنين عن اعتقاده أن أشخاصا سقطوا “بلا شك” من الطائرة وأن الفيديو حقيقي وفقا لموقع روسيا اليوم.
يذكر أنه انتشرت على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي مقاطع كثيرة لأفغان يحاولون الفرار من خلال التسلق على طائرات عسكرية أمريكية وغيرها خلال الأيام الماضية، وسقط بعضهم بشكل مروع عن متن الطائرات وهي تحلق في السماء.
