Doha: HE Chairman and CEO of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi expressed his pride in the amazing and successful FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, hailing the tournament as a unique event that brought peoples of different cultures and nationalities together.
The World Cup in Qatar is so far the best in all respects, and the final match between Argentina and France is one of the most beautiful finals, if not the most beautiful at all, Al Khelaifi said in a statement Sunday after attending the final match which saw the Albiceleste claiming their third World Cup trophy.
It was a unique experience, and the Qatari success dazzled the whole world. Qatar cordially welcomed all visitors to the World Cup, and the media started to talk positively about Qatar, His Excellency said.
Doha is the capital of sports, and Lusail Iconic Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the world, the PSG chairman added.
The Qataris are proud of all the stadiums that hosted the World Cup matches, and they look forward to hosting the best events, as their dreams have no limits, His Excellency added.
Congratulating the Argentine and French national teams on the dream-like final, Al Khelaifi also extended congratulations to PSG stars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, for their high-level performances during the World Cup and during today’s final match.
After a 120-minute 3-3 draw, a 4-2 penalty shootout victory gave Messi and Argentina their third World Cup trophy.

الدوحة: أعرب سعادة السيد ناصر بن غانم الخليفي، رئيس نادي باريس سان جيرمان عن فخره بالنجاح المذهل الذي حققته كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، معتبراً أنها مونديال فريد قرّب بين الناس على اختلاف ثقافتهم وجنسياتهم.
وقال الخليفي في تصريح له اليوم عقب حضوره المباراة النهائية للبطولة بين الأرجنتين وفرنسا والتي انتهت بفوز منتخب التانجو وتتويجه باللقب الثالث في تاريخه :” إن مونديال قطر يعتبر أفضل مونديال حتى الآن من جميع النواحي، وأن النهائي بين الأرجنتين وفرنسا من أجمل المباريات النهائية إن لم يكن أجملها”.
وأضاف: “عشت تجربة لا مثيل لها وحضرت مباريات عديدة “.
وأكد أن النجاح القطري أبهر العالم أجمع وتابع:” لقد فتحنا قلوبنا لكل زوار المونديال وبات حديث وسائل الإعلام إيجابياً “.
وأكّد رئيس باريس سان جيرمان أن الدوحة عاصمة الرياضة وأن /لوسيل/ ملعب رائع “من أفضل الملاعب في العالم”.
وأكّد الخليفي:”القطريون فخورون بجميع الملاعب التي كانت مسرحاً لمباريات المونديال، كما يتطلعون إلى استضافة خيرة الأحداث، فأحلامهم لا حدود لها”.
وقدم الخليفي التهنئة إلى منتخبي الأرجنتين وفرنسا على النهائي الذي جاء كالحلم الجميل وقال” أهنئ أيضاً نجمي فريقي باريس سان جيرمان ليونيل ميسي وكيليان مبابي على ما قدماه خلال المونديال من مستوى رفيع وخلال مباراة النهائي اليوم والتي احتفظت بأسرارها حتى ركلات الترجيح والتي ابتسمت في النهاية لـميسي”.
