Qatar Vaccination Center Passes Milestone of One Million Vaccine Doses

Doha: Qatars Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector has administered more than one million vaccine doses since it opened its doors in June.
Located near Asian Town in Mesaimeer, the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector has more than 300 stations and the capacity to administer more than 25,000 doses a day.
The vaccination facility, one of the largest vaccination centers in the world, is the result of a unique collaboration between the Ministry of Public Health, Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation and Qatar Charity, with support from the Ministry of Interior and ConocoPhillips-Qatar.
Dr Khalid Abdulnoor, who is the Senior Consultant Emergency Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation and lead for the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector, said his team were proud to reach this milestone.
“This Center is playing an important role in continuing to support the safe roll-out of Qatars phased plan to lift COVID-19 restrictions by ensuring that service workers have access to the vaccine and are protected,” he said.
“We are proud to have reached this milestone and we are committed to vaccinating as many eligible members of our community as possible to help us get back to normal.”
Dr. Abdulnoor reminded the community that the Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector operated on an appointment-based system.
“The COVID-19 Vaccination Scheduling Unit is set up to support the booking and appointment process at the vaccination center. People will only be seen with an appointment we do not accept walk-ins,” he said.”

الدوحة: حقق مركز قطر للتطعيمات المخصص لقطاع الأعمال والصناعة إنجازا مهما من خلال تقديمه ما يزيد عن مليون جرعة من لقاحات التطعيم ضد فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) لأفراد المجتمع منذ افتتاحه في شهر يونيو الماضي وحتى الآن.
ويقع مركز قطر للتطعيمات المخصص لقطاع الأعمال والصناعة بالقرب من المدينة الآسيوية في منطقة /مسيمير/، ويضم أكثر من 300 منصة تطعيم تتيح تقديم ما يزيد عن 25 ألف جرعة يوميا من لقاحات كوفيد-19.
ويعد مركز قطر للتطعيمات المخصص لقطاع الأعمال والصناعة أحد أكبر مراكز التطعيم في العالم، ويمثل إنشاؤه ثمرة تعاون بين وزارة الصحة العامة ومؤسسة حمد الطبية ومؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية وقطر الخيرية، وتم انشاؤه بدعم من وزارة الداخلية وشركة كونوكو فيليبس قطر.
وقال الدكتور خالد عبد النور استشاري أول طب الطوارئ بمؤسسة حمد الطبية وقائد مركز قطر للتطعيمات المخصص لقطاع الأعمال ان المركز يؤدي دورا مهما للغاية في مواصلة دعم التنفيذ الآمن للخطة المرحلية لرفع القيود الاحترازية المفروضة بدولة قطر بسبب جائحة فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19)، وذلك من خلال ضمان حصول العاملين في الخدمات المختلفة على التطعيم لحمايتهم من مخاطر هذا المرض.
وأكد على الالتزام بمواصلة الجهود لتطعيم أكبر عدد ممكن من أفراد المجتمع المؤهلين لتلقي التطعيم للمساعدة على العودة للحياة الطبيعية.
كما جدد الدكتور خالد عبد النور تذكيره لأفراد المجتمع بأن مركز قطر للتطعيمات المخصص لقطاع الأعمال والصناعة يعمل بنظام المواعيد مسبقة الحجز، عن طريق وحدة تنظيم المواعيد الخاصة بالتطعيم ضد /كوفيد- 19/، حيث لا سمح بدخول الأشخاص لمركز التطعيم دون موعد مسبق.
