Hosting of the 25th Gulf Cup Will Be Sorted Within a Month

Doha: The Gulf Cup Football Association recommended that a meeting of the presidents of the Gulf federations be held within one month make the final decision to name the country that will host the 25th Gulf Cup.
This came during the meeting of the Executive Office led by President of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani, today Wednesday through video conference with all members and the Secretary General of the Federation participating.
The meeting discussed many topics that were on the agenda, as the minutes of the first meeting of the Executive Office for the year 2021 were approved, and the President of the Federation and members of the Executive Office reviewed the report of the committee to study hosting files presented by Vice President of the federation and Chairman of the Committee Dr. Jassim bin Muhammad Al-Shukaily to Study the Files for Hosting the Gulf Cup.
Secretary General of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation Jassim Al-Rumaihi, said that the meeting of the executive office of the federation was positive by the participants, as it considered the interest and development of football in the gulf, which is the goal pursued by the Federation and all members.
Al-Rumaihi added that the decision to decide the country hosting the Gulf 25th Gulf Cup will take place within a month from now through a meeting to be held by the heads of football federations in the Arab Gulf states who represent the General Assembly.
The Secretary General of the Federation indicated that everyone is keen to hold the tournament that has a special place in the hearts of the people of the Gulf and to show it at the level that befits it, and that everything that is in the interest of Gulf football and national teams, representing an important pillar for the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation and the brothers in the federations who are in charge of the tournament is of the utmost importance.

الدوحة: أوصى المكتب التنفيذي لاتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم، بعقد اجتماع لرؤساء الاتحادات الخليجية خلال شهر واحد لاتخاذ القرار النهائي بتسمية البلد المنظم لـ/خليجي 25/.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع المكتب التنفيذي الذي ترأسه سعادة الشيخ حمد بن خليفة بن أحمد آل ثاني رئيس اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي لكرة القدم يوم /الأربعاء/ عبر “تقنية الفيديو” بمشاركة جميع الأعضاء والأمين العام للاتحاد.
وناقش الاجتماع العديد من الموضوعات التي كانت مدرجة على جدول الأعمال، حيث تم اعتماد محضر الاجتماع الأول للمكتب التنفيذي لعام 2021، كما اطلع سعادة رئيس الاتحاد وأعضاء المكتب التنفيذي على تقرير لجنة دراسة ملفات استضافة /خليجي 25/ الذي قدمه الدكتور جاسم بن محمد الشكيلي نائب رئيس الاتحاد ورئيس لجنة دراسة الملفات الخاص باستضافة كأس الخليج.
وقال السيد جاسم الرميحي أمين عام اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي، إن اجتماع المكتب التنفيذي للاتحاد كان إيجابياً من قبل المشاركين حيث نظر في مصلحة الكرة الخليجية وتطويرها وهو الهدف الذي يسعى إليه الاتحاد وجميع الأعضاء.
وأضاف الرميحي أن أمر حسم البلد المستضيف لكأس الخليج /25/ سيتم خلال شهر من الآن من خلال اجتماع سيعقده رؤساء اتحادات كرة القدم في دول الخليج العربية الذين يمثلون الجمعية العمومية.
وأشار أمين عام الاتحاد، إلى ان الجميع حريص على إقامة البطولة التي لها مكانة كبيرة في نفوس أبناء الخليج وإظهارها بالمستوى الذي يليق بها، وأن كل ما يصب في صالح الكرة الخليجية والمنتخبات الوطنية يمثل ركيزة مهمة لعمل اتحاد كأس الخليج العربي والأشقاء في الاتحادات الأهلية الذين يولون البطولة أهمية قصوى.
