Doha: A number of citizens have complained about the excesses of some retail points in terms of the promotion of canned food, which is sometimes marketed on the verge of expiry, if not after they have expired, aside from displaying standards that are not in line with reality.
“There are some goods that are put forward on the basis of sugar-free while the truth is the opposite,” says one citizen.
Another adds: “These stores adopt a range of methods and tricks, primarily polarized offers, which play a major role in pushing consumers towards this type of goods because of their cheap prices, which are in line with the capabilities of middle-income people in particular.”
Noting its infinite danger to the health of individuals, they called for the regulation of sales in the next phase, and of course fresh productions remain the most appropriate in terms of nutritional value.
Others felt that the most damaged canned food products were from abroad, given the many data that increase the likelihood of rot, from shipping to ways of storing them and placing them in places that do not maintain their nutritional value.
They stressed that local goods are safer by relying on the latest technologies used in the sector by national manufacturers, taking into account climatic conditions within the State, ensuring that they reach consumers at best condition.
They called on the concerned authorities to tighten control over imported goods and therefore various retail points, with harsh penalties imposed on all violators promoting such products.

الدوحة: اشتكى عدد من المواطنين من تجاوزات بعض نقاط البيع بالتجزئة فيما يتعلق بترويج المواد الغذائية المعلبة التي تسوق في بعض الأحيان وهي على مشارف نهاية صلاحيتها، إن لم يكن بعد تلفها، هذا ما عدا عرضها بمعايير لا تتماشى وواقعها الحقيقي.
يقول أحد المواطنين: “هناك بعض السلع التي تطرح على أساس خلوها من السكريات في الوقت الذي تقول فيه حقيقتها العكس”.
ويضيف آخر: “هذه المتاجر تعتمد مجموعة من الأساليب والحيل في مقدمتها العروض الاستقطابية، التي تلعب دورا كبيرا في دفع المستهلكين نحو هذا النوع من السلع بحكم أسعارها رخيصة الثمن، التي تتماشى مع قدرات متوسطي الدخل بالذات”.
وأشاروا إلى خطورتها اللامتناهية على صحة الأفراد، ودعوا إلى تنظيم العمل بالتنزيلات في المرحلة المقبلة، وبالطبع فإن المنتجات الطازجة تبقى الأصلح من ناحية القيمة الغذائية.
في حين رأى البعض الآخر منهم بأن أكثر المنتجات الغذائية المعلبة تعرضا للتلف هي القادمة من الخارج، وذلك بالنظر إلى العديد من المعطيات التي تزيد من احتمالية تعفنها، بداية من شحنها وصولا إلى طرق تخزينها ووضعها في أماكن لا تحافظ على قيمتها الغذائية.
وأكدوا أن السلع المحلية هي الأكثر أمانا بحكم اعتماد أصحاب المصانع الوطنية على آخر التكنولوجيات المستعملة في هذا القطاع، مع وضع الظروف المناخية داخل الدولة في الاعتبار، الأمر الذي يضمن وصولها للمستهلكين في أحسن الأحوال.
وطالبوا الجهات المسؤولة بتشديد الرقابة على السلع المستوردة من ثم مختلف نقاط البيع بالتجزئة، مع فرض عقوبات قاسية على جميع الجهات المخالفة التي تعمل على ترويج مثل هذه المنتجات.
