Doha – The BMW Group importer in Qatar, Alfardan Automobiles, showcased its latest
models at Qatar Motor Show 2018. The models on display were led by the highly-
anticipated BMW X5 – making its first regional appearance during the first day of the
event. The latest BMW X4, X2, X3, M5, i8 Roadster, M2 Competition was also displayed
along with the M760 Li and M4 CS. All nine BMW models will be on display for public
attendees from the 17 th till the 21 st of October 2018.

Stealing the spotlight was the iconic all new BMW X5. The fourth-generation Sports
Activity Vehicle (SAV) gives an imposing appearance and enviable interior space. A
powerfully sculpted bonnet, a short front overhang, lightly hexagonal wheel arches and
the dynamic sweep of the roofline provide further references to the sporty yet rugged
character of the new X5. Two variants of the BMW X5 will be available: The new V8
engine in the BMW X5 xDrive50i boasts 462 hp (0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds) and a
BMW X5 xDrive40i will be fitted with a 340 hp six-cylinder engine (0-100 km/h in 5.5
seconds). Both variants will be equipped with the eight-speed Steptronic transmission
and will be available for model-specific options from BMW Individual.
The BMW X4, BMW X3 and BMW X2 were also on display, demonstrating the variety of
options BMW offers though the X Model family.
The most powerful letter also made an appearance at Qatar Motor Show, with the new
BMW M5 at the lead. Providing ample power for the new performance sedan is a 4.4-
litre V8 bi-turbo engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and develops 600 hp with
impressive performance figures that speak for themselves: 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4
seconds and 0 to 200 km/h in 11.1 seconds. Like all the models to come out of BMW M
GmbH HQ, the design is M-specific and driven by function, with an interior focusing
squarely on the driver. As a high-performance sports car and business sedan in one, it
blends the best of both worlds.
Available at the stand were also the all new BMW M2 Competition and BMW M4 CS
with the new Oled lights– a symbolic pair when it comes to the BMW M sub-brand, along
with the range-topping BMW M760Li xDrive Series.
The open-top two-seater BMW i8 Roadster awed attendees with its ground-hugging
design. The electrically operated soft-top adds a whole new sensation of freedom to the
combination of locally emission-free mobility and high-calibre performance the i8 is justly
known for.

الدوحة، قطر – عرضت شركة الفردان للسيارات، الوكيل الحصري والموزّع المعتمد لسيارات BMW في قطر، أحدث الطرازات في معرض قطر للسيارات 2018 وكان أبرزها سيارة BMW X5 المنتظرة التي اطّلع عليها الجمهور للمرة الأولى في المنطقة خلال اليوم الأول من الفعالية. كما عُرض أيضاً أحدث طراز من سيارة BMW X4 و X2 و X3و M5و i8رودستر و M2 Competitionإلى جانب طراز M760 Li وM4 CS. وستتسنّى للجمهور مشاهدة طرازات BMW التسعة كلها التي يحتضنها المعرض من 17 إلى 21 أكتوبر 2018.

وسرقت سيارة BMW X5 الجديدة كلياً الأضواء إذ إنّ الجيل الرابع من سيارة الأنشطة الرياضية هذه يتمتع بتصميم ملفت وبمقصورة داخلية جذابة. كما يتميز بغطاء المحرك المصمم بشكل بارز وبالمسافة القصيرة بين المقدمة والعجلتين الأماميتين وأقواس العجلات السداسية الزوايا وبالانحدار الديناميكي للسقف الذي يعزز الطابع الرياضي لسيارة X5 الجديدة. ويتوفر طراز BMW X5 بنسختين: الـBMW X5 xDrive50i المزودة بمحرك جديد من ثماني اسطوانات يولّد 462 حصاناً ويتيح لها الانطلاق من صفر إلى 100 كلم في الساعة خلال 4.7 ثوانٍ والـ BMW X5 xDrive40i المزودة بمحرك من ست اسطوانات يولّد 340 حصاناً ويتيح لها الانطلاق من صفر إلى 100 كلم في الساعة خلال 5.5 ثوانٍ. يشار إلى أنّ الطرازين مزوّدان بناقل حركة Steptronic من ثماني سرعات وبخيارات من BMW Individual خاصة بهما.
كذلك، تمّ عرض كل من طرازات BMW X4 و BMW X3 وBMW X2 التي شكّلت دليلاً على تنوّع طرازات BMW المنتمية إلى عائلة X.
وتضمن معرض قطر للسيارات طرازات M التي تصدّرتها النسخة الجديدة من سيارة BMW M5. ويوفّر محرّك التوربو الثنائي في سيارة السيدان الجديدة العالية الأداء طاقة كبيرة حيث تبلغ سعته 4.4 لترات وهو مؤلف من 8 اسطوانات ومزوّد بتكنولوجيا التوربو الثنائيM . يولّد المحرك 600 حصان ويتيح للسيارة الانطلاق من صفر إلى مئة كلم في الساعة خلال 3.4 ثوانٍ فقط ومن صفر إلى 200 كلم في الساعة خلال 11.1 ثانية. وعلى غرار كافة الطرازات التي تنتجها BMW M GmbH، يعتبر تصميم هذه السيارة خاصاً بطراز M وتركّز مقصورتها الداخلية كلياً على السائق، فهي تجمع أفضل ما في السيارات الرياضية العالية الأداء وسيارات السيدان الخاصة برجال الأعمال.
كذلك تضمّن المعرض طراز BMW M2 Competition الجديد كلياً و BMW M4 CSالمزوّدين بمصابيح Oled الجديدة واللذين ينتميان إلى علامة BMW M التجارية الفرعية إلى جانب طرازBMW M760Li xDrive الأفضل في فئته.
وأدهشت الحاضرين أيضاً سيارة BMW i8 رودستر المكشوفة المكوّنة من مقعدين بفضل تصميمها المنخفض الارتفاع عن الأرض. فالسقف العامل بالكهرباء يضفي إحساساً بالحرية إلى طراز الـ i8 الذي يُعرف بخلوّه من الانبعاثات وأدائه العالي.
