Health Ministry Announces Updates on Travel and Return Policies to Qatar

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health announced on Friday updates regarding the travel and return policy for COVID-19, effective midday on Monday, August 2, 2021.
The new updates include updates to the list of classification of countries, as well as update of procedures for travelers coming from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka.
Travelers who have been vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 in the State of Qatar, coming from one of these countries (Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka), are subject to a hotel quarantine for a period of two days, and the quarantine period will end after obtaining a negative PCR test result on the second day. All other travelers coming from these countries are subject to hotel quarantine for a period of 10 days.

الدوحة: أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة، مساء الأمس، عن تحديثات تتعلق بسياسة السفر والعودة الخاصة بـ/كوفيد-19/، وذلك اعتبارا من منتصف نهار يوم الاثنين الموافق لـ 2 أغسطس المقبل.
وتتضمن التحديثات الجديدة لسياسات السفر والعودة إلى دولة قطر تحديثا لقوائم تصنيف الدول، إلى جانب تحديث لإجراءات المسافرين القادمين من بنغلاديش، والهند، والنيبال، وباكستان، والفلبين، سريلانكا.
ويخضع المسافرون الحاصلون على التطعيم أو المتعافون من /كوفيد-19/ في دولة قطر، والقادمون من أحد هذه الدول (بنغلاديش، الهند، النيبال، باكستان، الفلبين، سريلانكا)، لحجر فندقي لمدة يومين، على أن تنتهي مدة الحجر بعد الحصول على نتيجة فحص PCR سلبية في اليوم الثاني، بينما يخضع بقية المسافرين القادمين من هذه الدول للحجر الفندقي لمدة 10 أيام.
