Qatar records second death from Covid-19; 88 new cases and 11 recoveries
قطر تسجل الوفاة الثانية من كوفيد-١٩ و٨٨ حالة إصابة جديدة و ١١ حالة شفاء
The Ministry of Public Health announces the registration of 88 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and 11 cases of recovery, in addition to recording the second death due to the virus in the State of Qatar, and clarifies in a statement that some of the new cases are related to travellers who returned to Qatar and others to contacts.
The Ministry of Public Health stated that it conducted 2,291 tests today where 88 confirmed cases were discovered. This represents a marked increase in the number of cases conducted daily, owing to the use of new advanced laboratory techniques to detect the virus.
The Ministry of Public Health said that there are 11 new cases of recovered patients recorded today, bringing total number of people recovered from COVID-19 in Qatar to 62. The Ministry announced the death of a 58 years old resident who was suffering from chronic diseases.
وزارة الصحة العامة تعلن تسجيل 88 حالة إصابة جديدة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) و 11 حالة تماثلت للشفاء بالإضافة إلى تسجيل ثاني حالة وفاة بسبب الفيروس بدولة قطر، وتوضح أن بعض حالات الإصابة الجديدة ترتبط بالمسافرين الذين عادوا إلى قطر وأخرى لمخالطين.
وزارة الصحة العامة تعلن أنها أجرت الفحص للكشف عن فيروس كورونا لعدد 2291 شخصا اليوم وتوضح أن الارتفاع الملحوظ لعدد الحالات الجديدة يرجع إلى استخدام تقنيات مخبرية جديدة ومتطورة للكشف، الأمر الذي يسهم في اكتشاف وبشكل اسرع الحالات المصابة والحد من تفشي الفيروس.
وزارة الصحة العامة تعلن أنه مع تسجيل 11 حالة جديدة تماثلت للشفاء، يصل إجمالي حالات الشفاء من فيروس كورونا في دولة قطر إلى 62 حالة، كما أوضحت أن حالة الوفاة التي تم تسجيلها اليوم تعود إلى مقيم يبلغ من العمر 58 عاما كان يعاني من أمراض مزمنة.
