Qatar participates in a ceremony honoring the Amir of Kuwait
قطر تشارك في احتفالية لتكريم أمير دولة الكويت
Cairo: The State of Qatar participated in the honoring of HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah for his peace and humanitarian efforts in the peace forum, which was held at the headquarters of the Arab League General Secretariat, following the initiative of Women’s Institute for Development and Peace in the State of Kuwait.
The forum aims to honor HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for his pioneering role in promoting peace and for his humanitarian role. The event will include a special symposium during which a review will take place of the experience of the State of Kuwait and the role of HH Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah in supporting and promoting peace.
The State of Qatar was represented by HE Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League Saif bin Muqaddam Al Buainain.
شاركت دولة قطر في احتفالية ملتقى السلام لـ “تكريم صاحب السمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت رجل السلام قائد العمل الإنساني”، التي نظمت اليوم بمقر الأمانة العامة للجامعة العربية، بمبادرة من معهد المرأة للتنمية والسلام بدولة الكويت.
ويهدف الملتقى إلى تكريم سمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح على دوره الرائد في عملية السلام ودوره الإنساني، وتتضمن فعالياته ندوة خاصة سيتم خلالها استعراض تجربة دولة الكويت ودور سمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح في دعم خطوات السلام وشيوعه.
ومثل دولة قطر في الملتقى سعادة السيد سيف بن مقدم البوعينين مندوب دولة قطر الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية.
